a.s.r. is active in all Dutch insurance markets and traces its history back to 1720 in Rotterdam. Numerous mergers and acquisitions have propelled a.s.r. to grow and lead in various insurance markets. Since the 2023 acquisition of the Dutch Aegon operations, a.s.r. is now the second largest insurer in the Netherlands. a.s.r. is listed on the AEX stock exchange since 2016 and is part of the AEX ESG index since 2022.

 

Helvetia, with its headquarters in St. Gallen, has grown since 1858 to become a successful international insurance group with strong Swiss roots, over 13,800 employees and more than 7.2 million customers. In the Swiss, Spa in and GIAM (German, Italian and Austrian Markets) segments, Helvetia is active in the private customer and SME business. In the Specialty Markets segment, Helvetia operates worldwide in specialty lines and reinsurance.
