The CRO Forum’s Emerging Risk Initiative continually scans the horizon to identify emerging risks facing the insurance industry. In this refresh not only have we updated and added to the emerging risk radar, we have also articulated the major trends we use to help identify and communicate emerging risks. The report describes seven major trends that outline the key drivers for the emerging risk landscape, whether political, economic, social or technological, and map to the emerging risks. We expect these will be useful and insightful context for the reader when considering and framing their emerging risks, as they have been for us.
